About Me
My name is Rowann Remie (She/Her) and I began this project in 2021 when I was a Geoscience (Environmental Science Track) undergraduate student at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Currently I am a graduate student and will be undertaking my research project under the guidance of my advisor Dr. Kashif Mahmud. My research will focus on infiltration within Karst cave systems using data obtained from automatic drip loggers and LiDAR scans to estimate groundwater recharge.

I've worked for the past twelve years as a Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Technician/ Draftsperson in the fields of Engineering and Land Surveying / Land Management.
I have also been trained in Environmental Restoration project design and implementation as well as Environmental education instruction and community outreach with the Seattle based non-profit EarthCorps.
My particular interests are the fields of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Hydrogeology / Hydrology, with the intent of pursuing a career in Water Resource Management.
